The Artist:
Timothy H. Lee is a Korean-American artist born in Seoul, South but raised in New York City. He graduated (with high honors) from Wesleyan University in 2012, having studied Neuroscience, Drawing, and Biology. His works utilize a scientific language to render abstract forms and portraits which investigate the Korean and American perspectives on psychological disorders, and how these different views clash and align. He uses his anxiety disorders as a vector for narrative, highlighting social issues and confronting them in the process.
